Day 56 – 216.7 pounds

D.56-216.7 – So this is where I should have been at the end of April, but I’m glad I reached this eventually.  Obviously my goal for loosing an additional 15 pounds during May will not be happening, but having that goal has kept me at least moving in the right direction. (Down 15.0 pounds)

Nutrition

Breakfast

I had my usual 2-egg breakfast with two cups of coffee (freshly ground and brewed).

Lunch

I stopped by mom’s before heading to school and had small bowl of a meat with spices she made (the name escapes me at the moment), and this delicious flavored rice that is made with a little bit of milk and some bell peppers.

Once at school, I had to meet with a couple of people separately and I had a large iced coffee (with creamer and sweetened).

Dinner

At this point I was feeling quite hungry by the time we had our break from class at about 7:30 and the temptation was great to go for something hearty like Chipotle, Which Which, or something fast and convenient.

I instead opted for a grande vanilla latte with quad shots of espresso (I needed to stay awake for another 2 hours of class) and a butter croissant.  It was enough to calm the hunger and carry me over through class.

However, by the time I got home I was hungry again so I made 5 small dumplings I have in the freezer from a bag I bought from trader Joes.  These are quite small and healthy.

Fitness

 

No exercise today, but I’ll start this up again in the next few days. 🙂
