I was going through my emails and one of them reminded me of this long forgotten blog of mine. It was like opening the doors to a long forgotten room where you expect to find cobwebs and layers of dust everywhere. To my surprise, people have been here. Perhaps the “visitors” are bots combing the internet for information. I enjoyed blogging many years ago. Long before algorithms and short form videos started feeding off of people’s attention. I’ve been disillusioned by all of it. They latest trend is to embrace an analog lifestyle and I’ve been embracing it lately. My nights have been consisting of listening to classical music records, reading, and journaling with my fountain pens.
So when I ended up here in this old relic or mine, I found myself missing what the internet used to be. Throughout the years I considered pivoting to posting videos, and experimented with having AI assist me with generating posts and the accompanying photos. It was all further away from the writing I enjoyed. So on a whim, I changed the theme of my blog to this one that reminds me of a typewriter. My journaling will remain my avenue by which to write about personal matters, but I’m going to try and peak in here more often and experience the joy of published writing even if it’s only to an audience of none.
For now there will be no agenda. The only goal will be to write for the sake of writing and no artificial intelligence.
