I haven’t skipped this much since my elementary school playground! In all seriousness, my mind has just been elsewhere, and I have quite a lot on my plate at the moment in terms of work. However, I have been in much better spirits since picking up my dad from the hospital yesterday evening. The whole situation was quite scary, and it was only compounded by not being able to see him during his entire hospital stay. Thankfully, the hard part is now behind us, but there is still some recovery that needs to happen at home.
