365: Day 183 – AirPods & Writing

I’ve been stuck in a rut lately in terms of writing on here. At the end of the day I still feel the obligation to write a little something, but I often times don’t know what to write. I am reluctant to share most details of my personal life, but I think I’ll just have to bite the bullet and try it out for a while.

In trying to find ideas for eventually turning this blog into something more interesting for a wider audience I was reading through many travel blogs. I came across many places I’d like to travel to, but frankly all these blogs were quite boring in that everyone has taken to writing what can essentially be thought of as reruns of past travels. I had the same exact boring idea a few months ago to write about places I have been to as a means of coping with the lack of travel.

So instead I will write about my ordinary day where I woke up to the chilly air that reminded me that we are now in my favorite part of the year. The sun was shining into the house and slowly warming things up. Made some coffee, enjoyed seeing the fireplace, and turned on the news while also reading the news online.

Then is was off to the office–up the stairs and past the bedrooms. Sat in on a few videoconferences and preparing a few reports. They highlight of my day was waiting for the delivery of the AirPods I ordered late last night. The sell for $159 at the Apple store but were only $100 on Amazon yesterday. After using them for 5 seconds I honestly don’t know why I didn’t get these sooner. They’re easily worth the $159, but so glad I got them so cheap. I spend the rest of the afternoon being quite productive while listening to lots of classical music. As I write this, I am still listening to my classical music. 🙂

Anyway, I am now going to end this here and either read a little or play a videogame briefly before turning in.
