I watched a few short documentaries on the evolution of the internet and read a couple of articles on the subject. It’s fascinating to read about the internet of things blooming across the globe, and it made me wonder if we are witnessing the birth of a planet-wide neural network. As if the planet’s consciousness is awakening. What will future generations have to say about will generations centuries into the future think of our time. Will this be a new Enlightenment? Will we be like the explorers looking for new trade routes? We are definitely the pioneers of this cyberspace, but instead of searching for existing worlds, we create them.
