I was at Target and found myself looking at the packs of mechanical pencils with nostalgia. I world almost entirely using a computer and other electronic devices. I have always preferred writing by hand, but even that I have digitized using an iPad and an Apple Pencil. These mechanical pencils had me thinking of another era in which I was a student and completing assignments the old-fashioned way. When I was a student, I remember thinking how technologically advanced I felt by using those mechanical pencils instead of the old wooden ones.
