As I grow older, I find myself appreciating and interested in the same things my parents like. Yesterday I needed a hose fitting, and I got excited going to the hardware store and looking for the precise part I needed, much like my dad does. I enjoy making little changes here and there around the house. I think of my mom when I shop for a new plant, repot a plant, or trim the bushes.
