The day finally arrived where they’ve started demolition! Today they started with the two upstairs bathrooms, cabinets were installed in the laundry area, and they hauled away all the kitchen appliances and the washer and dryer.

I spent most of the day at the new place coordinating the different contractors and it couldn’t have been a worse day for conflicts with work. I had a client calling multiple times and I had loud construction noises in the background…but they assumed I was on a project site for work and taking a call while visiting a construction site. Then I had a very important meeting that I had to pay attention to, but thanks to modern technology I was able to record the meeting and take notes at a later time. I am completely exhausted, but I satisfied that I managed to accomplish everything.

Once again, I had not choice but to leave my little writing exercise until the very end of the day and I am not out of time…again. 🙂
