Day 77 – 214.6 pounds

Day 77 – 214.6 pounds

D.77-214.6 – A somewhat expected small gain, but I was still hoping to get into the 213s. I had an exam yesterday, so that was my priority yesterday. I’ll start posting the WordPress journal entries as soon as I’m caught up. I am currently two behind. (Down 17.1 pounds)

Fitness

No exercise yesterday as I was focused on doing some last-minute, but I will resume working out Thursday evening.

Breakfast

Egg and sausage breakfast sandwich from eggos

Lunch

Some potato cream soup from a can that I modified a little to improve the taste. 🙂

Later I made myself a Strawberry-Banana shake that was delicious.

Dinner

Had an early dinner before I went to school.  I warmed up at bag of “buffalo broccoli” which were marinated as if they were buffalo wings and were quite spicey.  It was healthy, but the taste wasn’t great and won’t be buying those anymore.  This is one of several frozen foods I bought because they’re from Birds Eye, which is a company I’ve been researching for a project I’m working on at school.

Later at school, I picked up an iced vanilla latte from Starbucks just to give me some extra caffeine to last through the test.

Day 76 – 214.2 pounds

Day 76 – 214.2 pounds

D.76-214.2 –  I stepped on the scale; stepped off and on again; and then did it one more time.  Holy shit! This is the lowest I’ve ever weighed probably since middle school!!  It seems I may have lost more weight in New York City than I had originally thought.  I did feel a little bloated when weighing myself yesterday, which made me fear I had gained weight during my trip.  Maybe I was still carrying around the extra weight from the late meal the night before?

I got a little emotional seeing this number.  There was a time not too long ago when I weighed over 300 lbs.  How much more? I was never quite sure as the scale didn’t go higher than that.  My weight loss journey has brought me countless friends, brought me confidence, turned me into a 10-time marathoner, even gave me the courage to come out.  I can go on for days about this, but the important thing today is that I feel like I’m once again back on this wonderful path: picking up where I left off.

Once again, I am thankful for each and every one of you who have supported me, sent me private messages, commented, or liked these posts.  You keep me on track and you let me know that I’m not alone.  I thank you and love you!  (Down 17.5 pounds)

Fitness

No formal exercise and lots of sitting as I spent most of the day waiting for our flight, then sitting in the plane for hours, and then rushing over to USC for my class at night.

Breakfast

Had a very early start and didn’t eat anything on my way out.

Lunch

Once I was done with the project I was working at in the morning I had to rush over to Riverside county so I gave in to convenience and ended up buying a sausage and egg McFuffin from McDonald’s.  Not a great choice, but I was hangry at this point.

Dinner

For dinner, I ended up eating really well.  I sautéed some vegetables and baked a breaded Tilapia.  The food was delicious and cooked by me!
